How to Care for your Glass

I polish and shine everypiece before it is shipped out. That being said, some of the wax will cling to the piece after polishing (Which will leave a small amount of white residue, typically near solder lines). If you find this on your stained glass piece, please use a clean, dry toothbrush to gently brush off the dried wax residue.

Hanging your piece
I recommend using a hook that is installed to a wall or wooden window frame to hang your piece. Suction cups can fail over time or due to the change in weathers outdoor. While it might seem secure, suction cups will likely fail over time

Cleaning your piece
Your piece has been cleaned, polished, and buffed prior to shipping. If you notice it dulls over time you can use a microfiber cloth to apply a light layer of 100% pure carnauba wax. After applied, use a clean microfivber cloth to buff away the wax. (I recommend doing this once every two years to protect the longevity of your piece)

Please never use window cleaning solutions! This will damage the patina added to your piece. If you need to clean something off it is recommended to use rubbing alcohol.

Most stained glass creations are made with materials that contain lead. This is the traditional way and most common way of doing stained glass. The use of lead in stained glass causes very minimal risk and is not harmful to handle. It is only harmful if ingested or inhaled but it's always a good idea to wash your hands after handling as a precaution.
